Anyway the book is more than just a dig at McDonalds, it shows how the fast food industry represents much of what is wrong with our society today. The section on E Coli is a good read, someone gets it and p*sses blood out their arse until the toilet overflows...nice!

I think if there is a McDonalds, KFC etc in large town centres only then that’s fine, it's the fact that there is a f*cking outlet on every roundabout that p*sses me off!

Herbaldayz, in my one theres four cctv cameras so no one can spit in the food and such or give out freebies as its linked upt oa big tv in the mangers office which is right next to the food preparation area anyway.
We aren't quite that bad, we're told to put a certain amount of ice in, but we dont salt the burgers to my knowledge. But then, I'm more on the customer side of things rather than the food preparation, so stand out front looking pretty and doing kid's parties rather than flipping burgers.
We get tonnes of chavs in, and I'm the first to boot them out. if they give me cheek, I threaten to call the cops and point out the cctv cameras to then, and they usually scarper. Failign that, they usually know someone or other one shift who tells them to bugger off. We get them in the play area to, which I don't stand for as its unfair on the kids who its intended for.

I used to work in margate mcdonalds for the same person you do .As i know he owns ramsgate westwood drive thru an margate .

Some of the managers couldnt care less what happens an things ive mentioned do happen .Ive seen it an been told about it i have had many friends who worked in all 3 resturants .

Maybe your diffrent more mature but not the same can be said about all members of staff (i mean common i worked there) i got the sack tho Sad

I especially love the way I've been there since November last year and have since become 'Customer Care manager'. Makes me laugh because I've been on a one day course and had no real training, I just have to ask along the way, depsite the fact I'm supposed to have a workbook to fill out, and a 50-question exam to assess if I'm good enough etc.
Some girl's been there for almost 2 years and is on £4.37. She's tubby, lazy, and whinges all the time. I've been there few months and on £5.30...pretty easy job to advance in, you just act really cheerful and work hard.

How old are you if i may ask (No im not coming onto you im engaged with a son) But would help to work out who you mite be .

I was a cook an i had to salt the burgers when the heat pad thing lifted up .The fries are also given an nice handful of salt every time there taken from the fryer an emptied into the Heat tray .An if its not an experienced person they can get carried away (Think its well known Macy Des chips can be very salty) .An i said In Nuggets (there processed food full of shiat)

Trying to make McDonald's sound perfect Shaun is pretty funny i must say .

Tbh it aint all bad an i did say i worked there 6 years ago altho i do still have friends there .

Things nasty do sometimes happen an it cant be denied maybe where you worked is much more strict .

I got friend who works in sainsburys restuarant aswell an i have heard just as bad stuff there .I.e food being put in a food bin then someone five minutes later asking for something say a suasage an they have removed it from the bin an served it up .

If I had kids I would be more strict about disapproving of violence than swearing. There are parents who are the same so I'm not that unusual.

Id agree with shaun that mcdonalds are more hygienic than your average street burger stand.

i know someone who used to work for the guy who runs the burger stall at the wheel (biker meet pub). It was his policy to bag up burgers that had been cooked but not bought, and reheat them and serve them the next day. Not something McDonalds wd do but probably something I would at home to be honest.
