|

Hi,
Looked on NSR125.com, no guide for this!!!
I'm asking anyone here who's done this, but actually looking towards Kickstart...
How do you adjust (and check) the chain tension on the NSR?
I've noticed it's a little slack, I think anyway.
Maybe even a guide to keep on here would be handy.
Many thanks in advance,

Hi
As Ste says. If the wheel is not straight in the first place then you need to use a long straight edge to check it (hold it against the side of the rear wheel and compare its position to the front wheel, doing this on both sides).
If the wheel is not straight the bike will not go straight.
Set the chain tension at the tightest point on the chain.
All the best

Oh yeah, before I forget to say, the marking on the swingarm for adjusting your chain with aren't always right. |
